M Fellows will be introduced beginning in Fall 2026 as appointments are accepted.
Appointments are announced only after acceptance. Rather than unveiling a complete roster at once, Think First Institute will introduce Fellows individually through Think First podcast conversations and institutional publications as each appointment is confirmed.
The M Fellowship is being built deliberately, with thoughtful growth taking precedence over rapid expansion.
-
Throughout history, human understanding has advanced because individuals working across many fields have expanded what humanity is able to know, perceive, and judge.
Through science and discovery.
Through philosophy and ethics.
Through law and institutions.
Through history and education.
Through exploration and the arts.
Through faithful inquiry.
Through every field that contributes to a deeper understanding of reality and the human condition.
Their contributions extended beyond professional accomplishment. Their work strengthened humanity’s capacity to perceive more clearly, exercise sound judgment, and carry understanding forward across generations.
The M Fellowship recognizes individuals whose lives and work have made contributions of that kind.
-
The M Fellowship is Think First Institute’s learned society, recognizing individuals whose lives and work have made enduring contributions within one or more of the Institute’s Fields of Inquiry.
M Fellows are recognized for intellectual honesty, disciplined inquiry, sound judgment, and work that has strengthened human understanding.
-
M Fellows may contribute to the intellectual life of Think First Institute through scholarship, conversation, mentorship, collaboration, or public inquiry. Participation is voluntary and will vary according to each Fellow’s interests and availability.
Drawn from across the Institute’s Fields of Inquiry, Fellows strengthen its work not through ideological agreement, but through a shared commitment to intellectual honesty, careful reasoning, and the continuing pursuit of truth.
-
The M Fellowship is a lifetime appointment recognizing enduring contributions to humanity’s pursuit of truth, understanding, and sound judgment.
Appointment as an M Fellow reflects Think First Institute’s conviction that consequential inquiry is not confined to a single achievement or season of life. It recognizes individuals whose work has contributed meaningfully to human understanding and welcomes them into the continuing intellectual life of the Institute.
Participation is entirely voluntary. Some Fellows may contribute through scholarship, conversation, mentorship, or collaboration. Others may simply remain part of the Fellowship community. In every case, the appointment establishes an enduring relationship with Think First Institute and its purpose of strengthening human discernment across generations.
Each Fellow inherits a tradition larger than any individual and contributes to a conversation that extends beyond any single generation.
